Liminal space is the threshold, it creates a sense of illusion––outlining the boundary between two halves. Near and far.
Reality and fantasy.
Life is dictated by this liminal space and we all exist within it, however as we grow older we focus less on fantasy and more on reality. As I’ve struggled with dark thoughts, I’ve come to realize that in order to control liminal space, one has to be able to cross over into the realm of fantasy and imagination just as well as they do into the realm of reality. This a representation of that. This is my escape.
